- On or about 25-Jan-96 15:16:59 Neil Bothwick typed the following words about

- NB> Well first of all, you do not need to create any conferences for
- NB> SortMail. It will create those it needs when it needs them, but for
- NB> Aminet you're trying to get the info into the file database. So don't
- NB> touch the mailing list or digest part of CfgSortMail. Just set Parse
- NB> Aminet RECENT to YES and add the Aminet RECENT To-address. If you run
- NB> CfgSortMail while a RECENBT message is on screen, it will pick up the
- NB> correct address for you.
-
- NB> You will need to set delete on, otherwise you'll get the same entries
- NB> each time, but leave it off until you get things working.
-
- NB> Personally, I don't find the files database part of Thor very useful,
-
- I agree with you in general but I have been using it lately to find files on
- Aminet without having to log on to my ISP and Aminet.
-
- NB> it's more of a BBS thing. Have a look at GadMget on Aminet, a much
- NB> better solution IMO.
